The Children Of Atlan

This is the story of a family of Atlan, the Ameides. They

reincarnate throughout history as catalysts for change.

I was in Spirit: And there, you meet the ones whom you will know. You choose your future and the circumstances of your birth; you accept your karma, which is the course of your action in this life, and the future. You see the karma of the planets where you will be born, Aergon and Atlan. And you see the karma of those whom you will come to love. You all have freedom of choice and will. But what of the choices made in spirit?

Time of Atlan: The teacher taught his students, then he went away. Then, the war between the planets, the destruction and the rebuilding: Andron, Chief Scientist of Atlan. Aeflan, the High Priestess. Gabriel, their child. Septros, the High Priest. Arielle, daughter of Septros and Aeflan, half-sister of Gabriel, lover of knowledge. Gaea, in line of succession to High Priestess. Aphrodite, patron of the arts, beauty and love. Rahwin the warrior and revolutionary. They will return many times in this story.

Birth of the Gods: The war between the planets and the male and female energies repeated here on Earth, as Atlantis and Lemuria destroy each other, with magic. The survivors set themselves up as the gods and goddesses of Sumer, Persia, Egypt, Greece, India and America. Zeus, Isis, Rah, Hera, Kali, Yahweh, Allah are capricious and must be feared. Obey me and I will love you. Disobey and I will punish you. Resistance and rebellion grows within the human spirit.

The Prophets Speak: We are the messengers. We are the men and women who speak with God. And even though the original words had been lost, with our visions we will bring about the religions of the world. Andron became Abraham, And Septros, Moses and Muhammad. And there was Akhenaten and Mary and Mary Magdalene and Miriam the sister of Moses, who asked, "does God only speak through you?" and Ayesha, the prophet Muhammad's wife, quarrelled with his daughter Fatima over who would succeed him.

A line of Kings and Queens: We are the rulers of the world, anointed by God. We are the guides and leaders of humanity. Arthur and Guinevere, Alexander, David and Solomon, Nefertiti, Hiawatha, Cleopatra.

Race of Warriors: We serve and are the defenders of the poor and weak. "If you are capable of trembling with indignation each time an injustice is committed in the world, then we are comrades, and that is more important"~ 'Che' Guevara ~ and Arjuna, and Jeanne D'Arc.

The Art of Magic: Words have energy. Music has energy. Magic, Art, Science, Alchemy. Merlin and Vivian, Morgan Le Fay. Bach, Pythagoras, Newton. Dunnett, Hafez, Shakespeare, Sappho. Da Vinci, Michelangelo. Hermes.

Lord of the Morning: I am the bringer of the dawn; the healer of the earth; lord of the morning. I am Krishna, and there has not been an age in which I did not incarnate.

This is above all a story about remembered lives. You, too, have been here before. Will you be the visionary, the prophet, the seer, the warrior, the artist? Did you walk on Atlantis, fly through the stars?

Nikola Tesla, The Atlanian Man

The scientist philosopher race of Atlan had reached its peak of achievement. It had healed the scars of war and restored the environment. Atlanian civilization rested on two pillars, philosophy and science. Its direction was in the pursuit of knowledge, both physical and spiritual. Its people lived long lives due to its technology and psychic spiritual practices, then remembered their lives again when they were born. There was no dividing line between science and magic. Then when the time came, it sent its best people to Earth.

Nikola Tesla was the greatest inventor of all time. It was he that harnessed electricity, and therefore was responsible for the Modern Age. His discoveries, like all great ones, came from his brilliant intuitive vision. And he was from Atlan.

Tesla was born in Serbian Croatia as the son of a priest. His father wanted him to be a priest but he chose otherwise. He was very sensitive as a child and his dream was to help humanity. He once had a vision of harnessing the power of Niagara Falls to create electricity. Another time, while walking through a Budapest park declaiming the poetry of Goethe, he had a vision of the sun as a wheel that became the basis of his rotating magnetic fields motor. He proved the possibility of wireless transmission of energy through the earth, was working on free power for all, invented a motor car that ran without a fuel source, received signals from outer space, and believed in the existence of alien civilizations. After his death in 1943, all his papers were seized by the U.S. government, and his ideas suppressed. But his legacy lives on as the spirit of Tesla returns, again and again.

However, my purpose isn't to talk about him alone, but our hidden potential as a human race, and our future. Because we are all living half-lives, and stuck in our fears and ways of living.

There are many people here on Earth who have memories of other planes, many brilliant scientists who relive the discoveries and technologies, for good, or bad, of the Atlanian and Atlantean times. There are those, like Tesla, who have benefited humanity, and there are those whose belief in technology as a saviour of humanity sometimes blinding them as they recreate a time when science and hidden knowledge was used as a way to control and manipulate people, when science was separated from the ideals that had brought the Atlanians to Earth. And many, unfortunately are intolerant of the hidden knowledge, not because they don't want to know the answers to eternal mysteries, but because they can't measure it within the limited confines of their laboratories or with their primitive instruments. They can't understand gravity, or discover a Universal Energy field, or say whether there is one universe or multiple ones, with any certainty. Even their giant of rational empirical science, Newton, whose Principa Mathematica was an inspiration to so many, was first and foremost an alchemist, without whose occult knowledge of the possibility of invisible energy fields would never have discovered the forces of gravity. As later writers were forced to admit, "Newton was not the first of the rational scientists, he was the last of the magicians"

And I ask, where do the ideas of genius come from, but from the past? For Tesla was an Atlanian scientist, reborn.

So how did Tesla make his discoveries? Like all those who are reborn on Earth, he was blocked from his past. Without the Atlanian ability of past life recall, he had to meditate, and see patterns in nature, and ponder, and the solutions would come to him. And those Eureka! moments would come, and they were connections with his past.

Atlanians love the journey, as I said in "Travels with Chloe". It is a fact that in order to fulfill their purpose they had to come to Earth, many thousands of years ago. I first introduced the Chief Scientist of Atlan, Andron to my readers in my first book "Man From Atlan" and will write more about him in the sequel, "Children of Atlan". I was his teacher in many lifetimes, and he mine in many others. He came to Earth in the aftermath of a great war where a planet was destroyed. It is interesting that Tesla wrote about how we are surrounded by Universal Energy and by tapping into and focusing it, we could destroy whole planets. But without the moral focus which is the Way of Atlan, that power can only be misused and it is better it be lost.
Make no mistake, this is how Atlantis was destroyed, many times. In war and the misuse of technology. And what are we doing but repeating history, with insane wars and genetic modifications and engineered viruses? Now we are on the brink of another disaster yet you are all so blind!

Atlanians love physics and science. There are many brilliant scientists and researchers out there, who, if free from those who would control it to make money and create monopolies instead of benefiting humanity, could solve the problems of the world. There are many discoveries, which, once suppressed, could come back to help others. Even Tesla found that sitting beside one of his machines helped restore his health. Our energy problems would be solved with his technology, and even if much of it was lost, we as a race have the capacity to bring about a New Age.

I've written about the Dimensional Shift which caused the destruction of Atlan. The fact is, that Time and Space being rather porous and flexible, one can actually open portholes and travel between Dimensions, and even, create rifts between. This is how the people travelled, and this is how they reconciled the disparity between the Physical and Spiritual worlds as well.

The legends speak of beings in the spirit world, who return to Earth when needed. I've been asked many times, where is Andron right now? Is he on Earth or in Spirit? I said, "he's in spirit, and so is my mother Aeflan, and they choose to remain there, so they can do their work from within the Spiritual Dimension" That has now changed, as a new Dimensional Shift comes into being. And the great Atlanians are being reborn again.

A while ago I asked for a sign, and that very day received confirmation that Andron, who once was Nikola Tesla, would be born again soon. What does this mean for us and the future of humanity? This means we are being readied for all the great changes I have been speaking of, and as a sign, it's a great one.

The Future of Medicine

The Caduceus (Twin Winged Serpent) is the symbol of Hermes Trismegistus who also was Thoth, God of Magic, Healing and Writing.

One of the prophecies of the people Of Atlan relate to this very period in time. One day, there would be a great need for healers. Not only for people, but the planet, and I asked, but who would help heal the healers? So, since you are all, ultimately, the healers of your selves (God only helps you heal) I write this with love for all of you.

This is not just about the latest flu or fear induced pressure to go and get the latest vaccine which would 'prevent' disease. This is not about a 'cure' for illness. None of this would make any difference unless we were to ask ourselves, who are we, what's our direction in life, and where are we going with this planet of ours? What can we do? What should we do?

As a child I saw my parents emotional upheaval and saw the harm done to them and their children. I saw people die, and I was 10 when I was told that my younger brother was dying. And even though I knew that he would go on to be a spirit I was filled with such a rage I couldn't understand, and the rage made me ill.

I was 14 years old before I finally reconnected with the world of spirit and I have not ever lost it again. I saw I had never lost my way but it would take me down many roads. I was drawn to the Occult as a way of knowledge but also, a way of healing. I used Psychism as a way of understanding people. I came to Canada where I started my meditation classes, and right from the first, combined meditation with healing.

I used to suffer from allergies and asthma and only through homeopathy and unconventional medicine was I able to cure myself. I learned about the politics of medicine. I took up studies in medicine. I had a son who I was told had the 'incurable' illness of autism and I and my wife had to work very hard to reverse the autism. I started a free clinic then moved on. I had a healing centre, then moved on. I taught many people to be healers, I moved on.

I obtained my medical degree when I was in Canada but really, I'm not a doctor (I prefer physician) but a healer who helps you heal yourself, and what I practice is the ancient method of healing as practiced on Atlan. It is done through the laying of hands, and presence, energy and intuition, and changing your way of living, and your way of looking at yourself. Sometimes, there are miracles, but what always happens is that your karma is lifted, even briefly, and you experience nothingness, and peace..

I was at a medical conference in Spain in 1991 when I presented a paper on the Spiritual Healing of Autism, and I said, in this great big hall to the hundreds of doctors from all around the world, "the future of medicine is in energy medicine"

We have three types of energy: The Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual. I therefore refer to not Body, Mind, and Spirit, but Body, Psyche and Spirit. Imbalances in one of the bodies leads to imbalances in the whole, and to heal the whole, you have to treat the whole, with the physical, emotional and spiritual therapies of The Way of Atlan.

You will see elements of this method in Indian and Chinese medicine, and various energy and other therapies. It includes diet, nutrition, herbalism, and the entire electro-magnetic spectrum. But it also looks at the spiritual and karmic causes of illness, not just the physical. And it looks at the environment, personal, social and political, that shapes us.

I learned that my brother's leukemia was just one of the millions of children who were struck in the 50's as a result of nuclear testing. My children's Autism was a sad consequence of widespread vaccinations and inherited factors. Cancer was increasing not just because of a toxic environment but because much of it was caused by the greedy, controlling makeup of our society but also, the very medicine we were claiming would treat the illness. Many of the new viruses like AIDS weren't even natural outcomes but man made genetically engineered attempts at social engineering. We were creating the conditions for the future breakdown of the health of humanity.

   Debbie Bookchin, Jim Schumacher's The Virus and the Vaccine: Contaminated Vaccine, Deadly Cancers, and Government Neglect. The Polio vaccine as the cause of a new, widespread form of cancer.

Read about the huge increase in childhood chronic illness like diabetes, anaphylatic reactions, allergies, arthritis, asthma, learning and 'genetic' disorders and cancers, and sudden deaths due to the insane increase in compulsory childhood vaccinations. Read about governments who work for the medical establishment, ditto, the scientists. Read about the honest researchers who got fired for reporting adverse health effects of genetically modified organisms and foods, bovine growth hormone, and fraudulently approved medicines. Read about one of the greatest causes of illness and death, which is medicine as it is practised today. Read about the great inventors and discoverers whose health discoveries were suppressed.

What can be done? I hear about rich people setting up healing centers on Scottish estates and Florida Islands and laugh because it's already too late and the solutions won't come from something only rich people can afford (Even the rich can only delay the inevitable) It won't be from eating organic foods until the world becomes organic, nor from new pills be they 'natural' or drug based. It won't be from vaccines that have already killed or made the poor people they've been tested on ill. Disease will not end until you put an end to war and the imbalance within your souls. You won't be healthy until you heal the planet.

Let go of fear, and you will heal. Resolve what your karma is, and you will get better. Be at peace, and have faith.

Yes, there is a great need for the healing of the world, soon to become greater. I welcome you all on your journey for healing, and my purpose is only to help. Just ask.

Whither Christianity?

The Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.

It is Easter Friday today, and as I write this, many people have gone by my study window on their way to the church next door. I look out at all those neatly dressed families and children and say: these are good people. I could look at the ugly past of the Church, the suppression of the Gnostic heresy, the joining of church and state, the Crusades, the Inquisition, and how it condoned slavery and the genocide of the native peoples, and how dispensationalistic Christians in America still support Israel no matter what, and the never ending war against the rest of the world.

But it is Easter Friday today, and I look at the Christians going by with love, and ask, whither Christianity?

I think it extraordinary that of all the faiths I have taught and been connected to, and all the people I have met, all my closest followers were born into the Christian faith. Not one Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu or Pagan. Perhaps it is that even though all others still look for a redeemer, only Christians are ready? Pity.

The fact remains that the hundreds of thousands of pages written in the Vedas, and the Buddhist and Muslim teachings, can't match the simplicity of the story of Jesus. Perhaps the parables and sayings of Jesus have a magic which allowed it to not only spread around the world, but to enable many to reach the God within without the intervention of the priestly class and has transcended all barriers to understanding.

But I bear no ill will to the Church, or any other religion. People have already left, as I wrote in 1974, to seek the church within. And there is a magic in the Word, made flesh.

What did Jesus do? Not that he died on the cross and returned in 3 days, not that he will come to judge the living and the dead, but:

He came not as a king but as a man, he healed the sick and ministered to the poor, he threw the money lenders out of the temple, and he taught his followers to believe in miracles.

And that is the message of Easter.

Whither Islam?

These are the final days, as the 'War of Civilisations', which really is a War For Empire, continues to kill and destroy millions of people across the world. And, since this is a war which is above all targeted against the Muslims who resist, it is very important to ask, what is it in the karma of the Muslim people that they should suffer so. And to ask, what is the solution, and, Whither Islam?

Each religion believes it has the truth, the future belongs to it, and that the final word from God has been revealed to it. Therein lies the problem of the world.

I am not going to argue theology or the validity of prophecies completed with anyone because we all have this dialectic which serves only to convince us of the rightness of our cause and the wrongness of everyone else.

I, who have lived so many times, knew the prophets and where they came from. I witnessed, I knew what their purpose was, and how they accomplished what they did. I even knew their families and the people who followed them. These special beings came at specific times of the history of the world, to a specific people, and, and when their purpose was done, what they created...changed.

Now most of the people of the world are without religion, yet have not evolved beyond that to find peace, or spirituality, which is the peace that comes from within...

But I wish to talk about Islam. I was born into it, I choose to be outside of it, and yet, have defended it many times here in North America, as you will see in my writings. Not because I agree or disagree with it, but because it is the right thing to do. As I understand it, the prophecy is that the saviour of humanity will come out of Islam, but does not say that he will be a Muslim. Muslims believe that it is Jesus who will come and fight Dajjal, the symbol of all that is wrong with the world, and will ultimately defeat him. They also believe in the promised redeemer of Islam, the Imam Mahdi for the Sunni, and the hidden Imam of the lineage of Ali for the Shia, either of whom will help reform the Muslim people.

I could, if I were to argue the rightness of prophecy, state this: My name is Ahmad. I am a Syed, a direct descendant of the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, not just the Quraysh family. I was also, for those who might accept the possibility of reincarnation, the man who was the Fourth Caliph and the First Imam, Ali ibn Abi Talib, so I was the first man, again. But even then, the physical and spiritual lineage is a statement only, which I offer as a way of understanding.

The Word comes to all of us in different forms: A voice, the sight of a burning bush, an angel, or a man. All serve God's purpose, for that moment in time, which then leads to new things. They were meant to evolve, and none were perfect.

The people who brought the Way of Atlan to Earth never intended for it to become a religion, yet over time the original Word was forgotten, and Religion, with all its panoply, rituals, constructs and dogmas came into being. The original religions, filtered through man's consciousness, changed and changed again over time, as ideologists argued over which was the correct version.

It is the failure of religion that few follow it faithfully, and it is an even greater failure to say we have fallen only because we had not followed faithfully. Perhaps the problem lies in the religion itself?

There is much to admire within Islam. Its humanitarian ideals, despite what you may read. Its commitment to social justice and incorruptible government. Its refusal of usury. Its concept of Jihad, a spiritual 'struggle', which is resistance against external forces of control but also an internal struggle to try to accept God's plan for us. (When you equate that with karma, in its true sense of 'action', the possibilities are breath-taking!)

But the fact is that the glory days of Islam are long gone, and will not return. The reasons are manifold:

1. It had the seeds of change within it, but that was never understood.


2. While the Sufis attempted a greater degree of Gnosis, and there was a genuine debate in Islam in the 13th and 14th centuries relating to the balance between spirituality and orthodoxy, orthodoxy won.


3. Due to an unreasoning belief that the Koran is a perfect, final, fixed document, for all time, and that the prophet's vision was complete, Muslims give up freedom of choice by blindly accepting the scholars and theologian's interpretations of the sayings, traditions and actions of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) even when they have many evident contradictions or misinterpretations.


4. The role of women in Islam is not fully developed and they are treated as weaker beings, in a paternalistic way. They are not unequal, but neither are they equal in Islam, and therefore cannot fully develop as spiritual beings.


5. It retains many of the negative elements of monotheistic religion, including intolerance of other faiths, promoting fear of a punishing god, sexual repression, and suppression of dissenting views. This predisposes people to accepting authority figures, which leads to the corrupt authoritarian governments in the Muslim world, which misuse Islam for their own ends.


6. It cannot accept God coming to Earth in human form, which is its biggest taboo, called shirk. As if God can't do whatever God's purpose is. As if God must always be this unknowable being, with angels and prophets to intercede for humanity. As if God hasn't already been here, many times.

But these are my observations, not criticisms. Granted, that all religions enter into corrupt deals with the nation states. Granted, that all religions do not treat women equally. Yes, there are biological differences, yes, they are equal. God is male and female and child; no question in my view that God can appear in any form. But religion, like empires, like injustice, decays from within, and does not last forever, for change happens, and balance comes into being.

It isn't my place to change Islam. The revelations of the Koran were rightly given to a particular people at a particular time for a particular purpose, and if it is the appeal of religion that so many follow it as best they can, who am I to deny them that right?

But it is a pity that there is not one person within Islam who is capable of being Caliph of the believers, for the people have fallen far. It is a pity that you're divided amongst yourself by so many sects, all of them mistaken in their core beliefs. It is a pity that there is an unending war against Muslims and no one can stop the killing of innocents, and that many Muslims don't even care. It is a pity that even the religious within Islam can't speak out against the crimes done by Muslims in its name, and it's a pity that they are just as seduced by the material world as all others, that so many are ashamed just of being Muslims.

Yet, when I travelled through Pakistan in 1995, and Iran in 2007, I made sure to say that I was bringing a new faith which really was an old one, that I was meant to bring peace but first people would have to change, and accept this path, and know who I was. So I did my healing work, with Sunnis, and Shias, and Sufis, in the hundreds. (I could have gone to a Sufi festival with 50,000 people but it wasn't the time) You would have thought from what you read about how violent they are I would have been in trouble, but I never worried, was never bothered by anyone. A famous Sufi mystic, a woman (there's another shattered myth) when told by my cousin that my statements troubled her greatly, said "you leave him alone, he's an angel" (my aunt said exactly the same thing to her)

The fact still remains that Muslims will have to follow me, and become my disciples, not just listening and waiting for me to save them. They would have to follow me, no matter how difficult. There was one, just one, who did, but the path proved too difficult. Yet I helped her family and I helped the people of Iran, and Pakistan, because of my love for them. Any one who attacks those countries will be making a grave mistake; they will not lose, but neither will they win. But I still wait for Islam to change one day, and for Muslims to follow me, and become, like many others of other faiths, my disciples.

And if not? As was said once, "you have your religion, and I have mine", and when the day of reckoning comes, you will all be judged for what you did or did not do. I can only say I do not see a peaceful resolution, or a victory for your people; not until and unless you change.

Follow me

There comes a time in life, just once, where the chance to dedicate one's life to spirituality is presented. I am speaking of a choice made, in spirit, to follow the spiritual path. That choice may have been made in the womb, a previous lifetime, or even, in the life between lives. That choice may not even have been made yet.

Spirituality, in its essence, is the path to God. That there are an infinite number of paths, and stages, and lessons, is a given. What is also a given is that we are all spiritual beings, as each of us already has the map of that journey back to God.

Whether you believe in God or not, have a religion or not, all that is required of you is that you love one another. But I still say, follow me.

For the greatest proof will come not from prophecies unfolding or the events taking place in our lives and around us, but the peace I bring.

I can't bring peace to the world till you change, and I can't help you change until you hear what I have to say and then decide to follow, or not follow me. There were some who asked, where does that leave me and my religion, and I said that I welcomed everyone as worthy of God's love, but in the end people would have to give up their material identity, which only got in the way of their spiritual identity. They would have to turn against what they were taught, and find a pure way. If what they believed gave them peace then they should follow that, but if it did not, and their questions remained unanswered, they must leave, and follow me.

There were some who, no matter what I showed them, could not believe, could not have faith, and could not make the final step of following me. I wished them well, and let them go. Whatever happened then was their own karma. But those who did believe!

There was a young man who visited us last year, and was doing poorly at academics. His parents worried he'd end up in technical school. We had this one talk and somehow I made a connection; he now gets A's.

A woman dying of liver disease: within two days of talking of me she received news of a rare liver transplant. She no longer has any signs of Hepatitis C.

There was another who couldn't, wouldn't understand, even though he received ample proof of what I said. He entered into a disastrous marriage, but that was his karma.

And the number of people who over and over again were afraid they would lose everything, their homes, lives, health, even disability benefits: All they had to do was ask, and somehow, miracles happened. I did this not because I could or to prove anything, but out of love. And because they showed faith and trust.

I don't take away or bring your karma. You do, through your actions or inaction, which has its own ego stubbornness I find.

We are coming to the end of an age, as a new Spiritual Age dawns. And those who are most sensitive and gifted are the ones who feel it keenly. I can help you. I may not change your circumstances, but I can take away the power of circumstances to hold you.

You will see many things to fear in the time to come, in the economy, the war, and all I can say to you, is, do not fear. You will be well, you will all see wonderful things. But the one requirement of all of you is to have faith.

I write this to the one person, who, out of balance and not imbalance, will leap into the unknown and follow me, and I look forward to meeting you one day.

The next four years will be the greatest journey of all. Some say that Death is the greatest journey, but really, beyond death, is God. And the greatest journey is the one to discover God. And as the Sufi poet said, I am the beautiful friend.

The Choice of Discipleship

A disciple went to Egypt with her daughter. I had a vision, before she left, of a bomb being thrown at tourists in Cairo. Some people were killed. I warned her not to go to Cairo, but beyond that, had no fear for her.

A child who visited us last year, and was doing poorly at academics. His parents worried he'd end up in technical school. We had this one talk and somehow I made a connection; he now gets A's.

A woman dying of liver disease: within two days of talking of me she received news of a rare liver transplant. She no longer has any signs of Hepatitis C.

I told someone 20 years ago that she would one day move to the Middle East, and that frightened her, but when she left last week, she was no longer afraid.

In all of my lives, my purpose was to help humanity, and I have done this by healing, and teaching, and helping others learn how to make a difference in the world by reaching others. And many of them also helped me.

I have had many students in many lifetimes. I brought healing and magic, I gave peace. There were many stages of learning, initiations which then lead to the final choice: to become a disciple.

What I present is this:

I teach many lessons, but the greatest lesson is the choice of discipleship.

I suppose most will shut off at this point, but that is fine. When in previous lives I said if you truly wish to enter the kingdom of heaven then give up your wealth, and follow me that was a very difficult choice to make. Now I make it even harder by saying it will be a life long experience of learning, and, before you can even begin to learn, you will have to give up your ego, and have faith, in me, in God; that is a much more difficult choice to make.

So I understand when it isn't easy, since the only proof I offer is what I have already said here. But nevertheless, that will be the greatest lesson of all, not just the choice, but what comes after.
