Maya Calendar: The End of Times

Dec. 21, 2012

Many prophecies have been made about the end of Times. They interest us because millennial belief systems have always seemed so logical, so orderly that we could surrender to them without having to accept the responsibility that always accompanies true prophecy. This is the danger of prophecy, that once the future is proclaimed, we can surrender freedom of choice: why struggle when everything is pre-ordained?

That is why I hesitate to say what the future will bring, and always talk about potential, and possibility, and the need for sacrifice, willingly made.

The Maya were gifted astronomers and mathematicians, and their calculations showed the end of the long count calendar would take place exactly on December 21, 2012, which coincides with "On the winter solstice of 2012, the noonday Sun exactly conjuncts the crossing point of the sun's ecliptic with the galactic plane, while also closely conjunction the exact center of our galaxy" This is our Galactic Center, about which I will write more.

Earlier that year, Venus will pass directly in front of our sun, an extremely rare occurrence, happening twice every 122 years. They signify natural disasters. The last regular occurrence of 1874 and 1882 was followed by typhoons and the destruction of Mt. Krakatoa, the largest volcanic eruption ever. The first leg of the current cycle took place in 2004, followed by the Asian Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, and the Sichuan earthquake. The second leg will take place in June 2012.

High sunspot activities are followed by wars: the last peak took place in 2000-2001, the next will be in 2012. Will there be war, or a war to end wars?

Those who are born close to the Galactic Center, or have an astrological ascendant or midheaven close to it have this great (sometimes too great) power available to them: Gandhi had it, I (and I'm not a Gandhi) do too, but really, it's going to be interesting to see what happens to me (let alone the world) over the next two years. What I do know is that I will be there on that day, and God will be there.

And another interesting coincidence: According to an ancient Chinese astrology based on constellations as opposed to the more familiar 12 animals, I was born on the day of the sky sheep, which day will occur again on Dec. 21, 2012. That day, in Chinese Astrology with its emphasis on good and bad luck, is mournful, centred as it is in the constellation of the Ghostly Carriage. It deals with spiritual and supernatural matters, my forte :) and people born under this sign have clairvoyant abilities.

So what do I see for that day? Is it the Dimensional Shift I have written about before? The Maya saw the end of the shorter cycle as a time of rebirth, perhaps coinciding with the great floods, but the end of the Long Count? A biblical rapture event? The End of the World, or a beginning?

My answer is this: think of it as a journey, and some will see a great darkness, and some will see a man, helping them into the light.

Follow Me

Follow me

There comes a time in life, just once, where the chance to dedicate one's life to spirituality is presented. I am speaking of a choice made, in spirit, to follow the spiritual path. That choice may have been made in the womb, a previous lifetime, or even, in the life between lives. That choice may not even have been made yet.

Spirituality, in its essence, is the path to God. That there are an infinite number of paths, and stages, and lessons, is a given. What is also a given is that we are all spiritual beings, as each of us already has the map of that journey back to God.

Whether you believe in God or not, have a religion or not, all that is required of you is that you love one another. But I still say, follow me.

For the greatest proof will come not from prophecies unfolding or the events taking place in our lives and around us, but the peace I bring.

I can't bring peace to the world till you change, and I can't help you change until you hear what I have to say and then decide to follow, or not follow me. There were some who asked, where does that leave me and my religion, and I said that I welcomed everyone as worthy of God's love, but in the end people would have to give up their material identity, which only got in the way of their spiritual identity. They would have to turn against what they were taught, and find a pure way. If what they believed gave them peace then they should follow that, but if it did not, and their questions remained unanswered, they must leave, and follow me.

There were some who, no matter what I showed them, could not believe, could not have faith, and could not make the final step of following me. I wished them well, and let them go. Whatever happened then was their own karma. But those who did believe!

There was a young man who visited us last year, and was doing poorly at academics. His parents worried he'd end up in technical school. We had this one talk and somehow I made a connection; he now gets A's.

A woman dying of liver disease: within two days of talking of me she received news of a rare liver transplant. She no longer has any signs of Hepatitis C.

There was another who couldn't, wouldn't understand, even though he received ample proof of what I said. He entered into a disastrous marriage, but that was his karma.

And the number of people who over and over again were afraid they would lose everything, their homes, lives, health, even disability benefits: All they had to do was ask, and somehow, miracles happened. I did this not because I could or to prove anything, but out of love. And because they showed faith and trust.

I don't take away or bring your karma. You do, through your actions or inaction, which has its own ego stubbornness I find.

We are coming to the end of an age, as a new Spiritual Age dawns. And those who are most sensitive and gifted are the ones who feel it keenly. I can help you. I may not change your circumstances, but I can take away the power of circumstances to hold you.

You will see many things to fear in the time to come, in the economy, the war, and all I can say to you, is, do not fear. You will be well, you will all see wonderful things. But the one requirement of all of you is to have faith.

I write this to the one person, who, out of balance and not imbalance, will leap into the unknown and follow me, and I look forward to meeting you one day.

The next four years will be the greatest journey of all. Some say that Death is the greatest journey, but really, beyond death, is God. And the greatest journey is the one to discover God. And as the Sufi poet said, I am the beautiful friend.

Journeys with Spirit

I have long wondered about the journey a spirit makes when it leaves the body and moves on to the higher realm, and other dimensions. I also ask when and how we can reach the state of grace oft promised and written about by all the religions. The Divine Light, when seen or felt, by one person, or an entire people.

Recently a friend's mother passed away. He said "no one really knows what happens to us when we die". I wished I could show him the certainty that even my children have, that spirits pass on to another life, and the journey in between lives is as fascinating, and beautiful, as the one we go through in life.

I look at you, and see three bodies. The Physical, which exists in the material world. The Soul, which is the sum total of all your experiences in this, and all previous and potential future lives, and exists in the realm of emotion. The Spirit, our inner self which exists beyond all that and yet, bound to the other bodies. I see the energies and entities that attach to those bodies and prevent us from making that spiritual journey. And the greatest longing, whether recognised or not, is the Journey to God.

So I see how you all have spirits that long to go beyond to reach the Divine Light. That the spirits of the living, and those that have passed on, and those waiting to be born, all come for Healing..

I teach this: How to heal your selves, how to heal others. The chakras are a map of our spiritual journey from Creation to our return to God. From Nothingness to Nothingness, actually. Not the White Light or Blissful Eternal Joy, but, the nothingness of the Void. In aiming for bliss, we shortchange ourselves. We aim for spiritual enlightenment without understanding karma, when really, we must all go through the process of birth and rebirth.

When we meditate, the spirit leaves the body, but not far. When we have a 'spiritual' event, that quite often is a kundalini zap masquerading as such, with all due respect to what is after all a deeply personal experience. But, an event that changes your life, which always remains with you, where for a moment you are no longer in your body but truly out of it, that is a spiritual experience. That is the starting point of the journey, and not the end. The end is when we become one with God, and that is a journey that every soul, every spirit, every body makes. In the end, we all return to God, and I would like to show you the Way.

First, we need to ask where spirits dwell. When my brother died I suppressed my grief and it was only when I learned to contact his spirit that I could finally let go. First with a Ouija board, then, realising one didn't need them: the ability exists within all of us. Some, when they realise this gift, run into the brick wall of their own fear of letting go. Some are drawn by the seduction of these powers and drift into mania. I leaped into that swift river, which takes you know not where, and knew this was home.

So, when we die we pass on into spirit, and one only needs to learn how to communicate with them. I have had many spirit friends. They exist on another plane altogether and we need to understand their experience if we are to evolve ourselves. They come to a place where they see all their past lives, the choices and karma. They choose when to be born again, and to whom. They chose the circumstances of their new lives, they are born.. and then they forget all they have learned, and start over again.

The people of Atlan had the spiritual ability to remember past lives. It was a spiritual training that began in childhood, and went on for the rest of their life. I don't tell people who they were in a previous life, but if, in the process of learning about Spirit they remembered, that would be good. The ability must be learned again, yes, but first there must be many tests before you can safely make this journey, for the journey is the exact same journey we make when we die.

So I had many spirit friends, who came for healing, but in the process they taught me much. The occultist and magician "Cheiro" suggested I study Palmistry which led to Astrology which led to Psychism. So I first had a childhood where I saw spirits, before I developed my Psychism. This is the reverse of what usually happpens, since Psychism, which is a form of emotional sensitivity, usually develops first. There was Mary, the mother of Jesus. I knew her as Aeflan, a student of mine in one life, my mother and teacher in another.. The writers George Elliot and George Sand encouraged me to write. Andron of Atlan, and many more friends from other lives came to see me...

Spirits cannot tell you the future, because that would take away your own power, and free will. We can chose whther to listen or not. Yet how many times did I hear a dear friend tell me, wait a moment, take the road less travelled, make a leap of faith. And I would do that, and learn from whatever happened, and grow.

There are many obstacles to our journeys with spirit, but when we face our fears, they are gone. There are many stages to the journey. The first step is Knowledge, where we see the choices we have made and the choices we must make. The next step is to see how much we really are loved by God, and are surrounded by that love. And the last step is to surrender, and become one with God. These are steps taken, outside of religion which only emphasises punishment, into the peace which the true understanding of God brings to you. These are stages that occur whether the spiritual journey is taken when you die, or while you are alive. These are the stages that lead to grace within our selves.

The Divine Light exists within each of you.
