Where Goest Thou, America?

This is America

The Gulf Coast Oil Spill is one of the greatest environmental disasters in American History.

It affects the environment, human health, and the balance of nature.

Yet no one understands why, or what is yet to come.

There will be more disasters. It will be a long time before the planet heals.

Why have I been drawn to America, yet, when I knew that things would really get worse, did I leave it?

Because when I warned them, they didn't listen. So Americans will now have to go through this period of time, and be ready to follow the spiritual path by following me, and then, and only then, will I come back to help heal this nation, and through them, the planet.

I Dreamed a Dream

Trango Towers, Pakistan

And in this dream I was climbing these very peaks, in the dark, in a storm.

I am not afraid.

I succeed.

Humanity is being forced to face up to its challenges too.

Mastering the Art of French Cooking

The Boeuf Bourguignon was lovely

Living in a spiritual communal environment, it was duly noted that some women couldn't be trusted to er, boil an egg :)

But, joking aside, that really isn't my point. Aside from what men always say about their mother's cooking, hers was fabulous. But, she also gave me my first lessons in cooking, and I learned much from that.

I learned to be independent and not rely on anyone to feed myself.

I learned to organize myself.

And I learned that cooking food was the best way to show love for others, and for myself.

When I was in London I worked as an assistant chef at a company dining room where I learned to make a decent steak and kidney pie and apple crumb pastry as taught by a Spanish chef who groped the staff's bottoms (but not mine, alas-just joking) and I learned how one's energy got in your food and that food made with love got comments...

I am glad that Chloe learned to cook by herself, and that when she learned what she did through me she became a great cook herself. Her favourite presents are cookbooks, yet she knows it's never the ingredients or the portions, it's the energy.

I'm glad that our children have picked up our love of cooking, and that all of them have become pretty proficient in the kitchen. Arune really amazes her cooking class teacher.. and I think it's about learning to love yourself.

But then we got Julia Child's "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" and the first dish Chloe and the children made was of course, Boeuf Bourguignon . And when they saw the 21 steps needed, they decided to er, take shortcuts.

It was delicious! It was really, really, good. But the shortcuts they took made it just a tad salty, and a little too much fat.

So here's the lesson:

Sometimes in life we can't take shortcuts, but must follow the route laid out for us.

We may not understand the reason for the instruction or teaching, but perhaps we need to trust there IS a reason, and follow the recipe.

It may take a while longer, but the results always are worth it.

A Child is Born

A sign of hope

We live in karmic times. Every day we are reminded of change, upheaval and the pain of humanity. We try to live in peace, we try to find happiness, we wonder about love.. And each day we see what is missing in our lives.

And yet, even though I have been saying since 1977 how difficult would be the path ahead, I have always believed in humanity's strength and goodness, and I believed, that it would survive the tough times ahead.

Yet we all need signs and symbols, to show us the way. We need to never give up hope. And the greatest sign of all, is when a child is born..

What could be a greater symbol of hope and faith than that we should bring a child into this world? And at this time in Earth's history? I have known that children born in the 90's and 00's are very, very special. And that they will be a part of the earth's healing.

Last month a special child was born. That he was born was a special event, that he was born into the Muslim faith a remarkable coincidence, and that he was born close to me so I could always keep an eye out for him was the best gift of all. And the fact is, I know him from before.
You go to a place, and you've been there before. You meet someone, and even in spirit you know, you and I have been together in lives past, and I know you!

I wrote about Nikola Tesla the Atlanian man here
http://manfromatlan.blogspot.com/2009/05/nikola-tesla-atlanian-man.html
and I wrote this: "Atlanian civilization rested on two pillars, philosophy and science. Its direction was in the pursuit of knowledge, both physical and spiritual" and "its chief scientist was a man called Andron, whom I introduced in my first book Man From Atlan". Please read the article to see how significant he can be in the time ahead.

When I was a child I had spirit friends, and the two closest to me were Andron and Aeflan. They were my parents and teachers in some lives; I was their teacher in others. I have known them as Merlin, and the Lady of the Lake, I have known them as Mary the Mother of Jesus and Joseph of Arimathea, I have known them countless times.

And they told me, they wished to stay in the spirit world because their work was there. That Andron chose to be born now tells me how close we are to the time when the earth will change, because he was also there at other times of change; he was a great scientist, healer and magician.

So a child is born, who will do great things. Just as you, too, must find the greatness in you.

We ARE The Life Chosen

Me in Japan, age 4

We are born with certain gifts, but don't know how to use them. We are born with karma, but don't know how to release it. We know the life chosen, then, we forget.

Over the last two years I have seen the changes that are taking place on the planet, in the spiritual dimensions, and in myself. I have tried to warn people, but am aware that only those who are prepared to listen, and change, will ever understand what I am saying.

There was a child to be born to one person, who wasn't ready. That child is now somewhere.. else. I saw my mother become sick, and for a moment thought she would die. But she didn't. I knew that someone would become ill, and tried to warn him. He did not get the message, and became ill. I saw many family members becoming ill, and possibly dying, and that my father-in-law would be next. He was rushed into the operating room for emergency heart surgery last week. My mother-in-law asked me to help him, so, I did.

He needed to have both valves replaced, and the best surgeons were in Toronto, so they might have to do one valve then, another one later. But that day, and only for that day, there was a visiting surgeon from Toronto. He worked for nine hours, and replaced both valves, with animal valves instead of plastic, and they last 20 years instead of 5, and he won't have to take anti-rejection drugs either. He had a temporary pacemaker put in, and they thought he'd have to have a permanent pacemaker, and now, he doesn't.

When he was due for the surgery, he said to the surgeon he'd be "hoping for luck". The surgeon drew himself up and said "It's not about luck, but faith. You have to believe you'll be all right, and you have to know about God".

The nurses and doctors are agreed on this: his speedy recovery in just six days is a miracle, and, I'm glad for him. But I also said this to Chloe and her mother: sometimes, it's better to just let them go. Yes, I helped him because you asked me. Yes, I can release karma for someone else, though it is better they do it themselves, otherwise how can they learn? And I said this too, if he didn't learn about faith, then he hasn't released his karma, just delayed it.

I remember a dear person whose mother just had a stroke. She knew she wouldn't be able to deal with her death, and asked me to help her, then watched as I did my healing in the hospital room and all her vital signs returned. And now her mother's just fine, but impossible as ever, while the daughter continues to be afraid to let her go. My father in-law had been warned, but wouldn't stop smoking, and now he's forced to change. Another friend, when her parents died, was able to let go.

We chose the parents to be born to. We chose the lessons we must learn, and the life chosen, is the person we become. I see this picture of me, at age 4. My beloved grand mother had just passed away. I already was talking to and seeing spirit. I saw I was meant to make a difference in people's lives. I knew I would have great happiness, and great sadness, in the life ahead...

I could have, I know, changed that at any time. I could have avoided pain.

But: We chose the life ahead of us, we chose to be born. Running away from that, and having regrets, was not the path I chose. I choose to love and forgive my parents, I chose the path that would bring me learning and becoming a better person, I chose to follow my purpose.

Do you remember my Michael Jackson drowning man story? How one could not help the drowning man, because that was his path chosen? The same principle, that THIS may be their path, applies to my parents, to my children, and much as I love them, I have sometimes had to accept what they had to go through. Because then, they would be the person they chose to be.

And yet, because I love all my suffering children, I return over and over again, and all one has to do is ask, and I will do whatever I can to help.

But the lesson is still this: Have faith, trust you are loved, and know God.

The Karma of Natural Disasters

Haiti-Jan. 12, 2010

300,000 dead

On January 12, 2010, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti, one of the poorest countries in the world. 300,000 thousand people were killed, 1.5 million made homeless.

Many countries rushed to help, then rushed away, and it should be noted, the countries that helped the most were Cuba, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic. The richest, more powerful countries that were actually responsible for making Haiti in the state it was, did the least, even when they could have done much more.

But just as these rich countries have their own karma, and so, too, does Haiti, but my purpose is to discuss the Karma of Natural Disasters. And again, it is not to say that when karma happens, people deserve it, or that God wills it.

Though it was interesting to see Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson blame Haiti's problems, as due to a "pact with the devil". He was referring to this:

Boukman Dutty was a self educated slave born on the island of Jamaica, his first name on the island means "book man", his last name means "dirty". His French name came from his English nickname, "Book Man," which some scholars have interpreted as meaning that he was Muslim since even in Africa a Muslim was referred to as a "man of the book": "It is likely that Boukman was a Jamaican Muslim who had a Koran, and that he got his nickname from this."[3]In August 1791, Boukman presided in the role of houngan (priest) together with an African-born priestess and conducted a (voudou) freedom ceremony at the Bois Caïman and prophesied that the slaves Jean François, Biassou, and Jeannot would be leaders of a resistance movement and revolt that would free the slaves of Saint-Domingue.

An animal, which symbolized the wild, free, and untameable spiritual power of the forest and the ancestors, was sacrificed, an oath was taken, and Boukman and the priestess exhorted the listeners to take revenge against their French oppressors and "cast aside the image of the God of the oppressors." [4] According to the Encyclopedia of African Religion, "Blood from the animal, and some say from humans as well, was given in a drink to the attendees to seal their fates in loyalty to the cause of liberation of Sainte-Domingue."[5] A week later, 1800 plantations had been destroyed and 1000 slaveholders killed.[6][7

The great Haiti slave rebellion led to the defeat of the French, British, and Spanish armies that invaded Haiti, and to its independence. And all due to the actions of Boukman Dutty, who is regarded as even now, being one of Haiti's guiding lua, or spirits.

This was his prayer: "The god who created the earth; who created the sun that gives us light. The god who holds up the ocean; who makes the thunder roar. Our God who has ears to hear. You who are hidden in the clouds; who watch us from where you are. You see all that the white has made us suffer. The white man's god asks him to commit crimes. But the god within us wants to do good. Our god, who is so good, so just, He orders us to revenge our wrongs. It's He who will direct our arms and bring us the victory. It's He who will assist us. We all should throw away the image of the white men's god who is so pitiless. Listen to the voice for liberty that sings in all our hearts."

Did the ceremony create an energy there, shall we say? Unfortunately, yes. Just as I have written about such a ceremony leading to a vortex of negative energy in Palestine, so too, did it happen in Haiti. The passionate quest for freedom, that created such a force. That it later led to such events, is not something that I judge, just to understand, to explain, and, to try to heal.

The karma of natural disasters is something that hangs above us all. That the U.S., that Canada and the U.K. has been protected for so long, I know and understand why. But will that last forever? Each country, each nation, has its own karma. It happens because the earth is not in balance, and heaven is not in balance, and we are not in balance. And each of us is affected in our own way.

There is a great shift taking place. Bring out your own inner healer, and, do not be afraid.

Chiron, the Wounded Healer

I broke my arm

In two places, actually, the coronoid and the radius. I may need elbow surgery, but for now am letting it heal and the physiotherapy is um, painful.

In my previous post "The Bird came again" I referred to someone who was deeply in need of healing, but didn't know it. (Not referring to myself, of course :) But the question does come up. Where did this come from? Why now? Was it karma, or something else? What is the lesson, what can I pass on?

Every year I have a meditation around Christmas, and another in January. Previous ones predated the L.A. earthquake, the Asian Tsunami, the Kashmir earthquake, the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. Each time I sense the changes required in the earth's pattern, in other people's, in my own.

Last year I told my spiritual group there would be a lot of deaths in families. A woman whose husband had been run over said she had attended six funerals in a few months. A disciple lost an uncle. Another, her father. Another, both her parents. One of them changed residences at the same time as me then had an accident that hurt her back. Another, lost an unborn child. Chloe lost her wedding ring, and was so upset, yet I was praying so hard for her, feeling something might happen. The week after, while driving with her father, she had a strong feeling just as they went through an intersection. She told him to stop, and he did. At that moment another driver went through a red light. If they hadn't stopped, she would have been hit by the car.

I spent the year praying for the health and safety of my parents, my family, my friends. And in the course of it, I broke my arm.

This year, my meditation was about Chiron, the Wounded Healer, and the lesson for the year ahead.

It isn't just about me and my arm. It is about how we're all in need of healing, we and the people of this broken planet. And in my last post "The Islamic Bomb and the Day of Judgement" I wasn't referring to a nuclear device, but about destructive forces unleashed on humanity. And the ones inside ourselves.

Now I wish to talk about the wounded healer in ourselves. how to heal him or her. It may be that we have to pass through something, regardless. But if we can understand the process, we can learn from and go through safely to the other side.

Chiron, in Greek Mythology, is an immortal being in the form of a centaur who taught the greatest warriors, mystics and healers of his time. An Astrologer, he taught healing to Asklepios, the founder of healing, who was the father of Hippocrates, the founder of medicine. Chiron has been wounded by a poisoned arrow, but as he is immortal, he cannot die. Therefore he transcends his suffering by service to others. Prometheus, the Titan who is being punished by the Gods for giving the gift of fire to humanity, can only be saved if an immortal can take his place. Chiron offers himself up for sacrifice, and the Gods appreciate this so much they allow him to die and pass on into spirit. This is the basis of Jesus's story as well, but also, yours.

You are all healers who need to heal yourselves. Healers are the first to be needed, and the first to need healing. I ask myself, do I have things to let go of? And the first thing I have to say, to myself and all of you, is to let go of the self-destructive and self-sabotage aspects of your lives. The next thing is, first look after yourselves, a difficult thing to do when you're a healer. The last one is, follow the spiritual path. It is the only thing that will save you in the time to come.

Love others, be kind and have compassion, do not exploit others, find balance in your lives. That balance may come from finding your purpose, doing what you are supposed to do. It may come from changing yourself and your environment. Try to build a solid foundation. You cannot heal everyone. First, heal the wounded healer within.
