Earth, Wind, and Fire

Maurice White passed away recently, at age 74.

So many musicians who passed away this year, David Bowie, Glenn Frey, Merle Haggard, Prince. Music plays such  an important in our lives each passing is like a rift in our consciousness. But I wanted to talk about Maurice White and how I came to meet him..

I was in Los Angeles in 1993 on A Spiritual Journey to the U.S.  While giving a talk and demo of spiritual healing on a cable TV show I got a call from a gentleman who said he just turned it on and there I was. He was drawn to me, for whatever reason. I, knew him as someone from a past life in Egypt and in this life we meet many from the past..

Maurice White came to all my meditations in Pacific Palisades and even had several healing sessions. A very spiritual being, he actually had named his group Earth Wind and Fire after the astrological elements in his birth chart. (Turns out they're the same as mine).

We were good friends for the few months I remained there, even when I made a point of telling everyone about my spiritual beliefs. He suffered from Parkinson's and was in hiatus. Told me he felt better after each visit. And his group had a resurgence after that, make what you will.

This was just after the Los Angeles Earthquake of 1994. I bring change, and some, I help. I asked him once if he knew Michael Jackson, the Drowning Man because I felt he would need help. Perhaps I wasn't meant to help. Perhaps I was to leave L.A. so I could go to Texas and meet so many good people there as well.

Perhaps, you cannot save every one (for that depends on the choices they make, especially spiritual choices).

So we lost touch, and now, you think of all the people you have met, even peripherally. Bob Geldof, Mick Jagger, and many more. You cannot look to the past with regret for what might have been. That only takes you in a direction which prevents possibilities.

But, you still can look at the past with fondness, the lives you have touched and the good you did.

Arjuna Reborn

The Eternal Reality of the Souls' Immortality.

The knowledge found within the Bhagavad-Gita is incomparable as it gives specific information regarding the purpose of human existence, the immortality of the soul and our eternal relationship with God. This information applies to each and every one of us without exception. Without realization of our divine relationship with the God it is impossible to establish our eternal relationship with Him. This divine relationship is our natural constitutional position and every human beings birthright.

There are three paths which lead directly to establishing a relationship with God. According to the authority of Bhagavad-Gita these paths have been designated as the yoga of perfect actions, the yoga of perfect devotion and the yoga of perfect knowledge. These three paths with great care and attention have been fully explained in the Bhagavad-Gita which comprises chapters 23 through 40 in the Bhishma-Parva section of Mahabharata.

Chapter one introduces the scene, the setting, the circumstances and the characters involved determining the reasons for the Bhagavad-Gita's revelation. The scene is the sacred plain of Kuruksetra. The setting is a battlefield. The circumstances is war. The main characters are the Supreme Lord Krishna and Prince Arjuna, witnessed by four million soldiers led by their respective military commanders. After naming the principal warriors on both sides, Arjuna's growing dejection is described due to the fear of losing friends and relatives in the course of the impending war and the subsequent sins attached to such actions. Thus this chapter is entitled: Lamenting the Consequence of War.

In chapter two Arjuna accepts the position as a disciple of Lord Krishna and taking complete of Him requests the Lord to instruct him in how to dispel his lamentation and grief. This chapter is often deemed a summary to the entire Bhagavad-Gita. Here many subjects are explained such as: karma yoga, jnana yoga, sankhya yoga, buddih yoga and the atma which is the soul.

Predominance has been given to the immortal nature of the soul existing within all living entities and it has been described in great detail. Thus this chapter is entitled: The Eternal Reality of the Souls' Immortality.....
---------

There has not been an age in which I did not incarnate, and in each age my message has been: your soul is immortal. Therefore why should you grieve, and what is the path to end your human suffering?
Arjuna is a metaphor for all those who are disciples, or followers of God. The lessons taught, sometimes with a kick in the pants, sometimes with a "oh quit your whining", but always with love, are a path to peace, and union with God.

But there was an actual being called Arjuna. He was a noble prince, a warrior, and infallible archer. The lessons he learned are lessons for all of us, and allow us to follow, the perfect path.
He was the great warrior Rahwin on Atlan, who knew that one had to act decisively, without regret. He was Paramahansa Yogananda, who brought his knowledge to America. He is my son, who, born in America, which symbolises all that is good and bad with the world, yet with all the karma he brings with him, is yet a symbol for us again, already recognised as Arjuna, reborn.

I told a follower of Yogananda that he was born again. He couldn't accept that; Yogananda had reached enlightenment, and did not have to be reborn. Fool! Each living being reaches enlightenment and union with God at some stage and yet, chooses to be reborn, with all the attendant suffering, so that they can reflect God's will. And I told a follower he could forgive himself for the guilt he felt for a hidden affair, but by comparing himself to an impossible ideal, denied himself the grace of God's forgiveness.

This is the lesson of Arjuna: There is a battle before you. Follow your path. And God, the Supreme Being, will reveal himself to you in all his glory.

Rule, Britannia

You go to a place,

and know every part of it.

You meet someone,

whom you have loved many times.

You say to yourself,

I have done this

in many many lifetimes,

and will do so again..

(I think Shelley said that)

We moved to England right after I was born. My father was in the Foreign Service so I grew up in London, my favourite city in the world. But it was that blessed isle that felt like home to me. Islands have a sacred energy which is like no other. I have lived in two of them, Britain and Japan, and hope to one day visit Hawaii, New Zealand, and Ireland.

But it was first the spirits who thronged around when I was there, the spirit of Atlantis so strong as carried forth from Lyonesse, the Old Atlanian flame, the time of King Arthur and the time of Jesus who visited it so many times. The people are magical, yet so many don't know this, and there are so many that do, but don't know how to integrate all that within themselves.

If there was a place I would live in besides Canada, it would be the British Isles, so strong is my connection there. It is a promise made in so many lives, that I would return when needed.

It is a love of place, and of a people, that makes me feel that way, and also, of the possible future out of many possible futures that I speak of.

Walk around Stonehenge, Avebury, the White Horse of Wiltshire, Wordsworth's daffodil field, a place called Bluebell Woods, Loch Ness and the Isle of Iona where the ancient Scottish Kings were buried, and you feel the stones and the sky and the spirits speak to you.

A bus driver in Devon says "welcome, brother" and you know what he means. There is a 15 year old young man discovering his power in the Yorkshire Downs who has as much raw Psychic Energy as my own children, and that's saying a lot.

Two million people march against war in 2003 and you know that there is a British spirit that will never change, and magic will always exist, there.

But: There is much done in its name and there is an imbalance that requires healing.

So I go to Britain, many times. There is a ceremony called the sacred marriage which combines Earth and Sky energy to heal the planet.

The first ceremony held in 1999, on a hilltop in Dartmoor, brings two swarms of bees and wasps who crawl all over our hands. No one is bitten, but I see that as the need for healing. Next year there are floods in the South of England, yet none of them reaches Heather's door.

I visit again in 2000, 2004, 2005 and twice in 2007, and every time I arrive, the weather changes. I offer healing, but also say, your future lies in the choices you make. I warn friends of specific outcomes which come about; I help a woman hold on to a pregnancy she was afraid would not last, I meet an assassin who shows me how much Britain also does in the field of dark magic.

I feel that 2007 will bring much change, so bring my family over for the summer. The week before we arrive, there is a bombing at our airport. The rains that have poured for 3 continuous months stop. We have a glorious two weeks in Scotland and the Lake District, that is, wherever we go the sun comes out while it rains in the rest of the country. Heading south into the greatest floods in a century, we pass through a landscape of flooded fields and towns. Arriving in Devon, the sun comes out again, and we have another two wonderful weeks in Devon and Cornwall.

Chloe and I renew our vows and we have another sacred marriage ceremony. The sun is hot, drying out the floods, but a woman at our wedding dies shortly afterwards because of a cancer she picked up in India. A reminder; we cannot help everyone.

I go back in October to set up another healing center, as I did in Iran. And then, I am done.

What will happen now? I have been there so many times, my spiritual awakening has so much connection here, but, time to move on. Now the people can follow the Way of Atlan, or accept whatever comes. Their gifts are great, but so too are their responsibilities.

Do not live ordinary lives.
